Half a BILLION dollars in #Republican spending has done little to move the polls. Since Labor Day: #Republicans have pumped money into competitive House and Senate contests. But their surge of attack ads has failed to hurt #Democrats in critical midterm races.
#Republican campaign groups began to make concessions to the punishing political environment, shifting money away from races they no longer believe to be winnable and falling back to reinforce another tier of seats in solidly red states that no longer look safe. Money can't buy you love.
