OH!! I forgot to post about this over here... so..... I've been working on a short story within the universe of Ellie and Fran's story (it's called Underneath Evergreens) and it has... absolutely NOTHING to do with Ellie and Fran. So here are these characters I'm workin with instead!

Need to be more active on bsky because this is where. Like. All of my old friends and artist oomfs have gone and I miss everyone so much but I'm so sitcom fandom-brained that Twitter is still where I'm comfortable and keeping up with crossposting to two platforms is hardddd 😩

all the pulse and solitude of a self-burning sun

a traditional pen and ink drawing of a coyote curled in on itselt and partially covering its face with its paws, eye looking intently at the viewer. a burst of color in white, yellow, orange, pink, purple, and blue (painted in gouache) erupts from its neck.

mermay has passed, but pride month hasn't! so here's the annual au drawing hehe #ocs

digital drawing of my characters grimm (they/it) and yarrow (he/they) as merfolk. grimm's lower half is a blacktip reef shark and yarrow's is that of a lobster (but yellow/brown to fit their color scheme)

Sketchy ref for Valkyrie #art #nograves #valkyrie #svee

A reference sheet of my character, Valkyrie. She is a manticore with a brown body and black clouded leopard-like spots, a white lion’s mane, red horns that curve backward, an arrow-tipped tail, and saber fangs. She has large wings with brown and red feathers.

Text to the right reads:

“Much like seeing a black dog in a cemetery, seeing the manticore known as the Valkyrie is an ill omen and a symbol of death in the Far Reaches. She is often seen deep in the woods and is extremely aggressive — approaching her is strongly advised against. She is said to deliver hunters and warriors to a swift and ungraceful death with her unnatural strength and lethal venom, and none who have faced her have lived to tell the tale.

When Svee is in her Valkyrie form, she retains no memory or personality and is strictly animalistic. She cannot recognize people or language. Her body in Valkyrie form is seeking magic to sustain her, and, when she has consumed enough, she will try her best to make it back home before collapsing and changing forms.

She does not use her wings much. They mostly hang half-extended, or dragging against the ground.”

everything to think about, everything to notice

traditional black and white drawing of a coyote in front of and overlaid with various comic-like panels. three panels show its head in different orientations, and several show the motion of its back and front legs as it has moved and will move. there is a pair of panels featuring a close-up of its eye as it looks in two directions and a single panel showing its tail in a lowered position. additional panels feature a hand holding a pen, a diagram of coyote teeth, and a bird in flight. in the near-solid black background there are music notes that dissolve into a neuron-like star pattern, as well as several eyes looking in different directions

#artfight attack for lorewyrm! I'm behind on posting oopsies

Digital drawing of a long, four-legged, wyrm-like creature with a harlequin mask and jester bell thingies comin off his head. His fur is teal, white, and orange, and he wears a ruffle collar. The design is inspired by artfight's Team Comedy. The creature is winding down the canvas, holding his long, twisting tail. He balances colorful juggling balls on his nose, has balloons tied to his tail, and holds cotton candy with the tip of his tail. Balloons drift in the background.
