This morning in Biddeford, Maine, a 26-year-old man said goodbye to his wife and daughter and left for work. Moments later he was dead, shot in the head by ICE agents, the second man ICE has killed in six days. ICE is killing our neighbors. ICE cannot be reformed. Abolish ICE.
Small automation win: forwarding docs to a dedicated mailbox that auto-feeds into Paperless-ngx. OCR'd, tagged, searchable in minutes. No manual uploads. The trick isn't the tool; it's removing the decision step. If filing requires thought, it gets skipped. Forward and forget actually works.
Moved my containerd data root to a bigger disk. Should've taken 20 min. Instead, it corrupted image layers and took down containers sharing the same Postgres. Spent 2 days fixing it + finally gave each app its own DB/volume like I should've from day one.
