For some reason I’ve been managing my anxiety by playing 2D pixel art fighting games from the 90s. Mostly Street Fighter. But I just tried SNK’s Garou: Mark of the Wolves. It plays super smooth, and feels nice, but I’m finding it so much more bland than, say, Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike.

I’m such a big fan of Terminator 2 that I tend to ignore the first one. But I recently rewatched it and my god it’s cool. Look at the way “TECH” flashes behind Arnold in this cool 80s dance club.

Yesterday I finally beat the boss Gill in Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike (1999). I did it as Chun-Li and therefore we are bonded now for all of time. With Gill defeated, I am the God Emperor now. Do not be afraid of mine own beauty, friends. I will be fair but horrible.
