Apparently I really like TV shows where Hamish Linklater plays a morally complex community leader cursed with longevity in a small island community besieged by supernatural horrors.
Of course no one will ever say anything, it'll join the endless pile of incredibly scandalous and offensive Trump material we let drift by, but this kind of utter disrespect for US troops - troops you have gotten killed! - used to be a big deal, in America.

I guess there's a lot of discourse about whether Deltarune Chapter 5 is Good or Not, but honestly I loved it. Yes it was more goofy nonsense than dramatic plot reveals, but my god this game is really, really good at goofy nonsense IMO.

“America has always been like this” responses to “Orange Man Bad” posts annoy me. Obama didn’t post a video of him dumping his own fecal matter from a F-18 on his critics, then threaten to go to war with Denmark. That isn’t true.
The incentive online is to always post polemics about how awful everything is, how no one can get ahead, how you’re absolutely mad as hell and aren’t going to take it anymore. If you question any of this you’re declared a world-historic idiot or worse. This has affected many brains.
Mildly annoyed to have had The Boys finale spoiled for me, but at least it was in the eternally humorous context of right-wingers being shocked and confused that Homelander is a villain.

I will say, it is frustrating to be a Hillary alumni to some times be whipped back ten years and remember warning of things, word for word, that have happened, we fucking told you, we told you every day for months and people mocked us and screamed at us and refused to believe it, we fucking told you
