Funny to me that the OoT Remake is SO exciting to ppl who've played it to death, cuz we saw a TON of gameplay and especially level design changes yet to ppl less experienced, OoTR reads as completely 1:1 Even Hyrule Field seems to be VERY diff outside general shape, look:

Link standing in Hyrule Field's southeastern quadrant to the right of Lake Hylia in the original N64 version of Ocarina of TimeLink running through a marsh swarming with Tektites that does not exist ANYWHERE in any previous version of Ocarina of time......which is presumed to be this new area of Hyrule Field covered in water in the remake. Tektites do NOT spawn here in any other version of the game as well Also of note is how much wider the map is, how much more space Lon Lon Ranch takes up on the map, as well as the new forest added directly south of it.

Live-service games have destroyed the convo surrounding Mario Kart World. I'm always hearing "I haven't had a reason to go back to Mario Kart in months..." What about the reason that it's really fun? Double Dash got zero updates ever and we all played it for years. Let fun be reason enough.

Seeing lots of folks say Link's design looks out of place compared to everyone else, but I think that's the point? The Hero of Time grows up as a Kokiri, despite being Hylian. The design is a fusion of the 2 aspects of his life, it's prolly intentional that he sticks out from Hylian NPCs

SOOOO happy with Ocarina of Time remake. I've played that game 9 billion times especially thanks to randomizers lately, and I could tell even on the initial watch there were tons of small level design tweaks here and there. It seems even less 1:1 compared to SF 2026. Hope there's way more!

State of Play was overall decent but man oh man Rhapsody in Scarlet looks good. Need that OST injected into my VEINS. I really hope that game is as cool as it looks cuz rn that shit looks like it was made for ME LOL
