I know calling reps is very nerve racking. You're not sure what's the right thing to say, and tbh having a script thrown at me makes things just as nerve racking. I called today, and I figured I'd write up a transcript of how my call went down. Hopefully it helps demystify the process

Office Rep: Hello! this is the office for congressman Billy Bob. How May I help you? Me: Hey my name is (Gov. name) from (residing city). I had some concerns. Office Rep: Sure thing I can pass on a message! Me: Are you familiar with this ongoing push for these online safety laws? Office Rep: Hmm...Is there a particular bill or law that it involves? Me: A few actually! Office Rep: Go ahead!Me: the KIDS Act, Kids online safety act (KOSA), the Screen Act, Sammy's Law, and the App Store Accountability Act Office Rep: Got it! Me: I strongly oppose these laws and I urge Billy Bob to vote no when these bills are up for vote. They do nothing to actually protect children and are just a cover to suppress free speech. Also There's been a bipartisan push to end section 230. I think Section 230 should be protected since it's important for online free speech. I'm not a fan of this speed running of a surveillance state happening right now. Have you noticed that? Office Rep: (Chuckles) Okay, I have it all written down and I'll make sure Billy Bob gets the message. Thank you for calling! Me: Thank you for listening.

You need to call your reps and demand that they OPPOSE: -the KIDS Act -KOSA -the Screen Act -Sammy's Law -the App Store Accountability Act And additionally, oppose: -reforming/sunsetting Section 230 -online age verification/ID laws www.congress.gov/members/find...

My and @lalodelasoul's sona posed up, my sona is wearing a puffy jacker with an armband and making a smug expression. Behind me Lalo's sona is looking more serious and also wearing a puffy jacket with vertical stripes on it with his hands in his pockets. Behind both of us is my sona's true form in this universe, a large eldritch creature with sprawling tentacles. A large toothy smile on my 'face' revealing an eye within its mouth. Both @xtremersadiq's and @sporktown's sonas. Spork's sona is dressed in a japanese sailor uniform, looking casual and chill while wielding a butcher's knife. Behind her is Sadiq's sona, floating casually and smiling as his body and ears trail off like a cloud. Behind them Sadiq's true form is shown, a weather elemental with a body made of thunder clouds, his head is shrouded in shadow as his eyes shoot lightning in all directions. @justcerebro and @shininghubee's sonas. Cerebro's sona wears an outfit based off of Daisaku Kusama from Giant Robo, on the sleeves of his blazer are pins dedicated to two V-Tubers he was a fan of at the time. On his wrist is a wristwatch just like Daisaku's meant to control and relay commands to Gun(shininghubee). Gun's sona is a little cartoon bee with gloves and sneakers, excitedly posing next to Cerebro. His true form is a giant bio-organic bug themed mech similar to those seen in "Aura Battler Dunbine", he has giant wings, antennae, a set of compounds eyes and an armored carapace. @kaboodledoodles and Starbeam's sona. Kaboodles is a little cartoon dinosaur with a goofy smile and noodle limbs, he floats humorously like he just smelled a delicious pie next to the more scary and spooky Starbeam. Starbeam's sona is in contrast far more unsettling, having a shyguy-esque mask that is cloaked in shadow with only one of his pupils visible behind the dark. He wears a hoodie and clutches his body tightly as if he is cold. Behind them is Kaboodle's true form, a giant ferocious dinosaur with design elements from the likes of Godzilla and Dinosaurus from Invincible. He is snarling and charging what looks like atomic breath within his mouth.
