I'm not even sure if I want to continue living in this country anymore. Anyway, I'm leaving again with running "that script," posting this post, and maybe returning in 3 weeks at best. Take care until I come back again...

Elections didn't work out how I desired and affected me the most as a teen at the bottom of the caste, causing me to become withdrawn. Due to personal issues afterward, I didn't have much time for Bluesky and many other things. I also have to make some decisions that will affect the rest of my life.
Normally I would tell you that today is my birthday, but I am sorry that I cannot share this top secret information with you because of the confidentiality of my personal data. ✌️🥺🎂
Heyo, I'm alive. Election has multiplied the stress on me to a point that whatever the outcome of the runoff, I'll probably be out of anything for close to a month at best. I didn't want to cause any “anxiety” since my last post was about a depressing political outcome. Anyways, take care!
I hate both the current situation in Turkey and Musk's recent actions. Twitter also is the main "news" network in Turkey. By the way, most of our population doesn't know about alternative access methods like VPNs or proxies, I don't think those who know'll have any problem accessing blocked content.
This may sound strange to you, but it is better to hide some posts than get the whole platform blocked. During the earthquake, our government shut Twitter, which became the main hotline because emergency lines were unreachable. I hope we'll wake up to a freer press and society tomorrow in Turkey!
Matt Binder@mattbinder.bsky.social · 3y agoTwitter used to routinely challenge Turkey’s takedown requests Erdogan actually had Twitter banned in Turkey in 2014 for refusing to comply. (the courts later ended the ban.) but that was on the “censorship” version of Twitter, not this new “free speech” one
Today marks the 2nd week of my Bluesky experience. Even though I'm in the relatively new wave of people invited by @aliafonzy.bsky.social, it feels good to be part of the "development" of the platform. I can't say I've been a very active user, but I've met great people! Thanks for everything!!
IGN 10 Gamespot 10 Game Informer 9.8 Eurogamer 4/5 Metacritic 97/100 Unsurprisingly, Nintendo seems to have made a banger again, if only I had a Switch and “enough time” to play 🥴
Does every Sonic game have to be this good with OST?!? https://youtu.be/u_FRDqHT5y0

For those who wonder what I do for living: I am a dragon hunter, programming is just a hobby. Yes, maybe you have never seen a dragon in your life. That’s because I excel in everything I do!!
I don't have any news on the development, but I’ll tell you a cool story. Today on the bus I saw a Super Sonic render on the trailer of a truck but I couldn't take any pictures, it was too sudden. After that I looked up their name, reached out to them and asked for pictures. They did send!!
Did you know in KHTML, K stands for Kitten? No, you didn't, because I made that up!
videah θΔ@videah.net · 3y agoWhen were people going to tell me that WebKit developers are called WebKittens!
Ayo! Ex-Google and Stanford PhD Dr. @taylanyildiz.com is here! If this platform needed a “Turkish politician” in any way, I think he is definitely the best person to fulfill it! I thank him for accepting my kind invitation! ^^
Got `blockedBy: True` from someone recently... It's something that happens in the ordinary course of life, and after all, that feature is there to be used, but this is the first time in my life that I've been blocked by someone for real. Can't say it's quite a nice experience!
Yes, you've heard about the hellthread, but have you heard about the ✨heaventhread✨? Yeah, this huge art thread is just like heaven 😳
Merve@merves.bsky.social · 3y agoHuge art thread 🎨🧵
I got great news for you: Finally found my 3DS charger! Which means I can test the Bluesky 3ds port on a physical device. Is there anyone who has a New 3DS that can help me with the tests? Mine is an Old one so I don’t think there would be any compatibility issues but I want to guarantee everything!
Welp, the point of post was to get more Turks to find each other in replies due to high shock factor and to tease open-source Bluesky Turks list I'll release on GitHub. Tbh, I couldn't care less about having Turkish followers, I've overtaken even @vedat.bsky.social before that post. Have a nice day.
Fatih Arslan@arslan.io · 3y agoPlease don't spam me with random posts. Honestly, it doesn't feel natural, and the last thing I want is to be part of an "FWD to all" style thread. I've already muted two spam accounts (not blocked yet), but I'm not sure why people refrain from asking like a human would do in the real world.
It looks like I have some Japanese followers here, so since I've never had Japanese friends IRL, there are some simple questions that I can't ask anyone, and I want to ask them if you don't mind! What are your thoughts on Sonic and JoJo?!?!? 👀
I wrote a big thinky piece. It's about the good aspects and difficult aspects of user safety on Bluesky https://jesopo.uk/2023/05/02/bluesky-user-safety.html
Bluesky’s user safety situation
The new kid on the block for microblogging is a platform called Bluesky, and I’ve been thinking about how user safety intersects with its unique circumstances.
