Javascript, I'm a just a humble dev with years of C# and GDScript, so I must ask Why did you name a thing a const if it's not constant?? You're just kind of batshit about some very specific things I think I would have become a very different programmer if I had started from it

There's some moments in programming where you just want to high-five and lick all the internal organs of your past self Thank you me from a few months ago, you're my better half

My laptop is screaming for a total reset and I'm seriously pondering the making the jump to Linux. Anyone made the jump recently and has thoughts about it? On the game side I'm not really worried, but I know there's a thousand small things tat will feel very off at first #gamedev

Hey friends, I'm back! Spent some time reevaluating social media in the last couple months, and, you know what, I like it here on bsky! I'm happy about the people I met here and I'm as excited as ever about the things I'm working on, especially in Godot! Happy new year everyone 💙

#indiebr

I'm officially a Resident Evil convert now folks. What an amazing series, always willing to experiment and surprise while still being true to its roots. Got through all these in the last 2 months. My favorite was RE7. Unmatched vibes, skin-crawling experience, surprisingly engaging story!

Yes, 2D terrain (autotiling) can work in 3D in #Godot! Saw how the backend worked in C++ (bless access to source code) and was like yeah I'm not redoing that So I created a hidden 2D tileset and propagated its changes to a tool that places 3d tiles accordingly. It worked! #indiedev #gamedev

Tainted Cup is really fun! Been a long time since I read a fantasy book that left me yearning for fanart about its world. I'm still wondering about the choice of using some heavily loaded words like "leviathan" though, instead of creating new in-world terms Recommend it anyways!

I’m in Resident Evil hyperfocus guys I’ve now played Resident Evil 2 (PSX), RE3 (Remake), REVI, Village and am now making my way through the castle in RE4. IN A MONTH Love how each game just plays around with the franchise and tries cool shit Also I now have access to top-notch memes like this

An image of a fridge with a machine-gun inside, with a caption "Resident Evil games be like..."

Months in, I'm still pretty mindfucked by one of the most underrated sci-fi novels I’ve ever read: The Chronoliths. It imagines a world where giant obelisks start appearing out of the sky commemorating future war victories around the world. Puts you in a lovely state of curious dread.
