I like how you can view sculptures from multiple angles. I also like that you can touch them, like you're making a real object (i have really only worked in 2d before today so this is very novel for me)

I bought a couple sheets of cool textured paper to try out when i was ordering printmaking paper. I thought I'd try framing this painting by Lynne Gerard with it:

I used coloured ink sticks again, and tried out the sumi-e style this time on the nice mulberry paper i use for block printing

My new website is linked in my bio now, it's pretty simple but it is a start. I wrote an article on it about block printing and how it works. I also gave it a fun custom cursor because I miss when websites had those more often

Passing on some wisdom I learned recently: Self adhering bandages make for a cheap/easy grip tape. Makes carving less painful and it isn't sticky.

I got a stamp that comes with letters for you to add yourself, and it struck me that it's basically a tiny letterpress printer. Kinda cool. I got it for labelling block prints so it's fitting

I printed a shirt with the linocut pattern i made. Very time consuming. Maybe I should try a bigger block next time. I still have to do the other side
