After 10 months of not writing anything, this has a quick update. It's a bit messy as I'm out of practice, but I'm hoping that we can make this a habit and finish this one up by Christmas.
Bug@yeeyeemtv.bsky.social · 2y agoIt's their first Christmas as three and Izzy is secretly very excited. He's surprised but thankful that he was the first one up. It gave him enough time to brush his teeth and start the kettle while also giving his stomach time to come to terms with being awake so early.
I can't watch true crime because no one ever asks for a lawyer. I ask for a union rep to get a damn compliment.

Ed's knee is actually perfectly fine and he wears the brace just for fashion and attention. No one can know that though, so Ed instructs Izzy to act like it is real and he's so brave for overcoming this obstacle. After a while, both of them forget that it's an act!

What if Izzy was never Hornigold's special boy? What if he had potential but Horni never saw it so he was thrown to his men. What if Izzy is so scared about being out back in that position that he becomes the special boy for Ed to protect himself.

It's really bothered me for a long time that resto au lay unfinished with no inkling of motivation to rewrite and finish it but I think I have finally figured it out! Don't expect it any time soon, but I think I want to fully re write it set in my home town of St Augustine instead of a vague setting
