I remember over Covid NPR interviewed a nursing home manager in Maryland who was defying all the trends and keeping his residents safe and healthy. They asked him what’s your approach? He said he’d listen to what was coming out of the White House and act as if the opposite were true. 1/

Insulation, air sealing, HVAC equipment efficiency, solar, and batteries are resilience technologies. They're great examples of JAM: Joint Adaptation and Mitigation. They both slow climate change and help us survive the climate impacts we can no longer avoid.
