This is one of the worst plots in climate science. It purports to show that the 1930s were much much hotter than present day.
I can’t afford gas or groceries and Trump won’t allow disaster relief to my state because our governor is a Democrat. But at least the federal government is banning workplace heat protections.
Nice analysis of the predictions of @zekehausfather.com and Jim Hansen. Jim has gone out on a limb before and been proven correct. This might be another case of that. Zeke's analysis of their (dis)agreements is very good.

Noticed something disturbing about Upper Colorado River Basin reservoirs (abv Lk Powell) this year: The normal mid-summer storage peak is utterly missing! Only comparable year since 2019 was 2021, but even that yr had a summer peak...it was just much muted. This year peak is just missing! 1 /2

If you're teaching a programming course, I recommend having students use cocalc.ai. I used it previously and it worked well. You don't have to worry about students installing Python (or whatever you use) and you can also control how much AI they can use (unlike google colab).
