I can't even believe I'm writing this. Somehow. Somehow? SOMEHOW! 14 councilmembers did the right thing today and voted to *double* the parks department charter allocation. It's still not enough. But for advocates to go into this meeting preparing to settle for .0485% and getting .065% wow

I'm hearing reports that the NY State Assembly just passed the plug-in solar vote by a wide margin, joining the State Senate. Assuming the governor signs it, that will be the 8th state making it legal (and the biggest). A groundswell across the country, and so many thanks to great organizers!
