It seems this needs to be said: Criticizing HYBE for how they conduct their business and for the merch-related decisions they as a company make DOES NOT MEAN - criticizing BTS - criticizing ARMY who want to buy those products These are completely separate things.

I don't like to collect physical merch objects, so I wasn't really planning on buying a lightstick in the first place, but now I'm DEFINITELY not getting one because the shameless cash grab scheme and waste of resources in terms of older perfectly functional lightsticks is just revolting to me.
