... Next spinning project 😂 this is similar to a previous project, Bluefaced Leicester wool and silk. As you see in the braid, the silk is very obvious against the dark wool, so I'm carding and blending it better together. I started drafting it incredibly thin, like sewing thread thickness,

Finished the spinning and plying. I ended up with 3 meters per gram, so I have 327m of yarn. It's very pretty! I did just a standard 2 ply. The second half of the fiber braid was mostly blue, so it acts as almost a background to the colourful first half. Around 14 wpi I think? Happy with that.

I've spent a couple evenings now helping a friend make plushies she sells at an anime convention, meticulously stitching 1mm long stitches. It is great work, but requires a lot of focus! We've done this at another friend's house, so while they've been gaming, we've been stitching. Parallell play 😍

This happens in literature as well. They give us a token seat at the table (or in this case, a completely separate second-tier table) and expect us to pay up and be grateful for it. I keep coming back to this ending ment by Yoongi, during HYYH on Stage opening weekend. They were being very philosophical, all three days (this dvd is blessed in that it contains the ments from all three days as a separate video), and yoongi here... I feel like #BTS reached the top of the mountain

Actually, I'm so fucking proud of ARMY too. When I joined, everyone were talking about how we wanted Bangtan to become untouchable, we wanted them to become free of tethers, we worked hard for them to reach a place of stability. And now they're here, and they are able to say fuck off to that org! 😎

And 2.0 is entirely a song how nobody does it like them. Its first line is 그래 방탄처럼 그게 말은 쉽지 Sure, it's easy to say "like Bangtan" The topic marker is doing some heavy lifting here. It emphasizes that the *words* are easy to say, and implies other things about this are actually *not* easy.

A photo of a white pvc pipe niddy-noddy wrapped taut with blue and purple yarn. In the middle is a twisted hank of yarn. I can't ply it all in one big hank of 100g because my tools literally aren't large enough. A spindle only takes about 50g before it becomes hard to use!

I've spun up the first half and offloaded it onto a wheel bobbin. To be fair, I had already done about 25g way back when, so I'm not THAT fast. While unwinding the spindle I could check how my spinning now compared to what I'd done over a decade ago - man, it was lumpy back then for some reason.
