"When we stop seeing our neighbors as precious, it becomes a lot easier to explain away their oppression. Our protest is an expression of neighborly love. 🫶🏾 When we see each other, show up for each other, protect each other… we resist." - Danielle Coke Balfour, ohhappydani.com

Transgender rights are not a permission—they are the right to live itself 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈 Existence doesn’t need any permission, you know. Why does the world treat something so simple as if it were optional? It is the baseline of being human ♡ Chiitan will keep raising their voice.

I don't think people understand the extent to which this has been a decade plus long billionaire funded campaign (obviously Thiel is involved). We've tried to ring the alarm about these eugenicists but it is too easy for them to get parroted by the mainstream media. bylinetimes.com/2026/08/18/t...

President Trump has relentlessly attempted to push transgender people out of public life by attacking our fundamental rights and freedoms — but we won't let him get away with it. Tell our leaders in Congress to pass a bill that will defend trans people and our families.

Defend Trans Rights: No Place for LGBTQ+ Hate

The Trump administration is trying to push trans people out of public life. Congress must act immediately to block federal funds from being used to carry out discriminatory executive orders – and end President Trump's obsessive attacks on our fundamental rights.

Parked but not idle: The buses “will charge up their nearly 200-kilowatt-hour batteries overnight, when the power supply is at its cleanest & cheapest, then send energy back to the grid from 4 pm to 7 pm on days when the grid is strained. The district will earn revenue for the power it shares…”

Good morning, friends! It's Primary Election Day in New York. Today is our last day for the next 2 years to shift the balance of statewide power. About 70% of all primary votes will be cast today, so any time we can give in the field will matter. Good luck to us all, and let's have a great day. 🙏

Won’t you be our neighbor? Thanks Ms. Rachel for modeling kindness & empathy in a world that too often lacks them. In Congress, I’ll fight ceaselessly for the future all our kids deserve (and sing with them whenever I can).

Friends, today is the 5th day of Early Voting. Counting today, we have 7 days left to shift the balance of statewide power in New York. Every time you think "I can't believe Kathy Hochul did [bad thing]," you can do something about it: namely, a shift for your local Leftist NYS Assembly campaign.

My family is losing someone soon. An immigrant New Yorker who spent his entire life working to support his family and who never got to retire, even at 70. Who literally worked until the day he died. New Yorkers, Americans, not being able to afford healthcare. It's straight up barbaric.

There is an absolutely bizarre social experiment happening on the internet. Different media is ending up like servers. And people are getting different realities based on their server. It used to just be fox, but now fb has a different reality from Twitter, bsky, and reddit. No more mirrors.

We have an incredible problem: too many donations for our mutual aid hub and not enough shelves! We’ve outgrown our current setup, and we need to adapt to keep up with need, especially as we help candidates across the country adopt this model.

There's a lot of people who are interested in prepping these days but don't know where to start. So I wanted to try to vibe-code a fun cozy game to make prepping easier into Duolingo bite-size chunks. The goal is open-source- just a simple html file that you can run/open anywhere.

I love pomegranates but they're not easily accessible in NZ, so I'm hoping to grow my own. The pomegranates that are available here are from India, which makes sense because they need sun and heat. But they are also very water intensive. So it sadly makes me wonder whose water I just ate.
