Sometimes I'll have a question/complaint in the abstract that happens to have a real, tangible answer that does not in any way solve my abstract problem and people will respond with the real, tangible answer and then I find it hard to explain the abstract question/complaint I'm actually having.

Why do games with partial voice acting not make a difference between voiced and unvoiced dialogue for Auto Mode?? Like I activate Auto so the voiced dialogue will advance automatically at a natural pace, but that also means unvoiced dialogue auto-advances and if I'm too slow to read, I'm screwed.

Never make the mistake of making bad queer art. Whether it be movies, games or whatever. Bad art? Sure, make as much as you like. At worst, it will be forgotten and nothing will come of it. But bad QUEER art? Invites endless discourse and memification and hatred not seen by any unqueer creative.

The more years pass the more I ask myself, will I ever actually feel like I've grown? Like, I've always been a firm believer that you can't force maturing or no longer enjoying things you enjoy in your youth. But nevertheless, I still can't help but think there's probably something wrong with me.

Time truly CAN'T be real cuz what the fuck do you mean 30 means "and a half", that can't be right. 30 is the most quasi-early number that ever quasi-early'd, how can it be that when you get to 30 in ANY context you'd be at the middle, that's BS. Hours/minutes don't know what they're doing.

Can't believe my videogame obsessions are so focused on One More/Press Turn battle systems where you get extra turns for hitting weaknesses and such. Even got really into Trails in the Sky and watching a playthrough of the remake, they added Brave Attacks which are basically simplified One Mores lol

I legitimately think the Trails in the Sky fast-forward feature is neat and can help cut out on needless backtracking/grinding time but if you're just playing the game for the first time and using it while going to new places or fighting new enemy types then you're just, missing a ton of the game.

I get why (even if I don't agree on every case) but it IS kinda funny how jiggle physics is the one part of realism that people are suspect on. I don't even mean exaggerated anime jiggle (that breaks the laws of) physics, but literally ANY. People are always like, "HMMMM 🤨" whenever a game has them.
