I wrote an essay about why I'm done using AI for coding, even if it costs me my job and career: brettcodes.com/im-done-usin... The basic gist is: AI made me a worse, apathetic programmer. I think it's bad for humanity, the planet, and the craft of software engineering. And I'm done using it.

I'm done using AI

Why I'm stopping using AI for coding (and anything else) after using it earnestly for a year and coming to understand the harms it causes on personal, societal, and environmental levels.

I always wonder what people do to have time to create art at work. When I go to my café I find myself having a lot of time during my shift to let my mind wander and want to create art

I don't want to make a bunch of random thoughtposts because I'll get sad when nobody reads them but that's all I got lately because I've been so busy 💔 1) Dont block busy intersections (death penalty) 2) Stop staring at me and just ask my gender 3) STOP POSTING AI ABOUT SAVING THE ENVIRONMENT

Massive thank you to everyone who reposts my work trying to get it out to more people. It means so much to me knowing that yall want other people to see my art too.

I'm just gonna advertise these YCHes one more time 👉🏻👈🏻 If you know someone who has a fursona, favorite character, or OC they love and want art of, please share! I would love to be able to use my bases more than once! ⛱️🖼️🎨 #promosky #OC #anthro #YCH

YCH (ANY painting/photo) 2026 summer YCH one OR two characters for 50$

One character is leaning on the other's shoulder on a padded gallery seat, and they're both looking at an elegantly framed photo or painting (of commissioners choice)YCH 40$ (Any gender, Any bodytype, Anthro ok!) a character is turning over their shoulder at a beach scene with an umbrella in the background, wearing some kind of sunhat and swimsuit.

It is really hard to push through bad mental health and get to a point where I can feel satisfied with the process of drawing. The parts where I struggle and have to solve problems get so much harder when I don't have a lot of mental energy. But getting to make art is still extremely relieving.
