What an exhausting 7 weeks it's been but as of today - I am officially a homeowner! From here I'll just need to move stuff up to the new place and then move all the dogs and kennel panels and houses with Jaye's help. Oh boy I just know August is going to FLY by! But we are so excited ♥️

We were treated to some gorgeous skies last night.

T minus 5 days for closing. I can't believe it's really this close! The next month will be a lot of craziness as I get dog yards put in and all my stuff hauled over. As far as the smoke goes here, today was another awful day at 700 air quality, but the dogs have all seemed totally unaffected.

I am stressed for my dogs 😫 the air quality is NOT good here one bit.

It's a war on flies here at the kennel. I've had fly traps out the past couple months and am using SWAT and Wondercide but it doesn't seem to be touching them. I've got more Wondercide ordered, plus First Saturday Lime and a homemade mix a friend ordered of Pyrethrin / Mineral Oil on the way. Ugh! 😫

I took Starlight to the vet for bloodwork in preparation for her spay next week. The good news: her bloodwork was fantastic! The bad news: I realized from a tiny pink smear after leaving the exam room that she is in heat, a month and a half early. 🫩 We shall have to push it off a while longer!

Opie and Chibs - two of Jaye's boys that I'm watching. Tonight was their turn for grooming and nail trims 🥰 they're both very sweet boys!

In case anyone wants to know how pawtographs are going 🤣 I was going to scrap it but this one is going to a super close friend (who isn't on here) and I know she'll get a kick out of it.

Trying to share more videos of the dogs for more happiness. Saphira gets VERY jealous when I'm petting Karyu and not her. For those not "in the know", Saphira is Comet's younger half sister.
