Was getting ready to grab something off my to-read pile and my partner told me give one of these a go instead which turned into me finishing both in around 5 days. Ultimately they are pretty silly but super engaging and fun to read. Will look forward to reading the next instalments

Strong start to the week - Backrooms rewatch and first time seeing Hope which was great. Two solid biopics to finish the week off but both plagued by the same issue I have with most films based on real events with the dramatisation changing things too much #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched
Finished this yesterday after two months of on and off reading. A great read if also just incredibly depressing too. Lot of first hand accounts of soldiers bemoaning what they are being ordered to do or being completely against it - and yet, still wiping out swathes of people for land. Poignant.

Pretty solid week of films for me this week. Started strong with a great new Adam Wingard John Carpenter clone, enjoyed the craziness of Repo Man, Penda’s Fen was a fantastic fever dream and rounded it all off with some big monster movie magic #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched #Filmsky
