Alien mask (seemingly inspired by the Kelly–Hopkinsville encounter) made for an episode of the 1978 TV series Project UFO. The episode is 'The Howard Crossing Incident' but I don't know who made the masks; there isn't a credit and I don't think it's be the credited makeup artist.

this next post is called A Very Short Hellboy Story

I know not many people will weep for EA but it's weird when you remember reading about EA being formed and playing those first few games. that EA died long ago.
EA officially goes private tonight, meaning: - EA will no longer trade on the NASDAQ for the first time in 36 years - All stockholders of EA (including many employees) will receive $210/share - EA will take on $18 billion (!) in debt, putting it on the hook to pay ~$1.8 billion/year in interest
*opening chords of "Debaser" start playing* "Dude, is that Slacker Rock?" "I guess." "Then turn it up....or don't. Whatever." *turns to camera* "Yo, dudes, remember back when shit sucked differently? Netscape, Newt Gingrich, 1-900-Collect ads? Well, there's great album called Slacker Rock.."

Linux just cracked 10% desktop usage in North America, but no one's sure why
The shift stands out because the change was not gradual but abrupt. Linux's rise came largely at Windows' expense, while OS X saw only limited movement over...

Saw this picture and trying to figure out the Diddy Kong situation is leading me down a rabbit hole that can only end with me rejecting the moon landing

giving up on #godot. I'm too dumb for it. Game Maker Studio has an Ubuntu version I'm installing and if I can't work with it I'll simply throw out my laptop and just be a Tablet Guy
you can make as many of these as you want. they can't arrest you for it
A few weeks ago I realized that tomorrow is the date the Ray Bradbury story “There Will Come Soft Rains” takes place. It’s a shame science fiction from 75 years ago isn’t relevant anymore
Hand painted Goldspan Dragon, based on an illustration of Smaug by Tolkien, himself.
"I need you to cube some melons" "How many?" "Just one" "Um...that's already one cubed"
