thought about this some more in terms of like, etymology I think "arceus" probably comes from "deus"? like, the latin word for god? this makes me wonder if it would feel more natural and less jarring in romance languages what I'm saying is: spanish speakers, does "arceus mío" make you recoil

i think my least favorite pmd writing trope is "oh (my) arceus" instead of "oh (my) god" you will absolutely never see that in any of my fics im sorry but it feels so corny and unnatural
