Big tax results out of Missouri tonight: Voters statewide rejected by an huge margin a GOP ballot measure to phase out the income tax. They also renewed a sales tax to keep state parks free. And Kansas City approved a package of $1.7 billion of bonds for infrastracture.
All those corporate PACs just flushed money down the toilet. Wow. How many hungry kids can you could have been fed instead?

This is a big flashing red light for the GOP nationwide. This is the most competitive district in WA. If they can't score a majority of votes in the primary, that's really, really bad.

Regardless, she won't be unhappy if Dems indeed wind up at 56% of the total primary vote (as things stand now)

The Downballot@the-downballot.com · 24h agoSeems like an upset might be brewing in the GOP primary in #MI08 to take on Dem Rep. Kristen McDonald Rivet. Trump endorsed Amir Hassan, but he currently trails an absolute nobody who suspended his campaign a month ago by a wide margin.
It's almost as if the GOP's anti-democratic policies are unpopular with the public.

I think that the Seattle City Councilors pushing back against this don't look very good. (And the community groups aren't doing themselves any favors either.) The Police Chief being basically co-located + traveling so much + not helping the CARE Team more + being testy w/media is all fire-able.
