the IT materials i'm studying have told me to use VPNs on public wifi to be safe. (no duh.) the same materials block me from accessing them when i'm on a VPN. i can pay the VPN extra for a dedicated IP, though, and that's supposed to fix it. this feels like a racket, doesn't it?
