Look, I know it's weird but it annoys me that Standard Reader's URL has a dash in it. Like, c'mon, the one without the dash is *right there*.
Certainly doesn’t help that they’ve had the same 3-4 dudes writing the flagship book for decades.
why is it that every time in the last 29 years I ask about what’s going on with spider man in comic books the answer is always that everyone has been driven insane by cuckoldry paranoia
In response to the unprecedented number of game developers laid off this year, we have created a bundle on itch to benefit a Game Industry Hardship Fund, managed by @videogameworkers.bsky.social. More than 100 games for 10+ bucks! Please share widely and donate generously! itch.io/b/3802/game-...

Hey, so, I was so angry today that, for once, I blogged it instead of posting about it. Games media, especially mainstream games media, cannot keep abdicating responsibility in how it talks about these things an-evening-at-the-inn.ghost.io/video-game-s...
Video Game Studios Aren't Monoliths
I'm just going to come right out and say it this time - treating video game studios like some kind of fantasy football draft, in the wake of mass layoffs no less, is sickening. The last three years, ...

Warframe is a game I’m consistently intrigued by, but the sheer volume of content available makes it feel completely unapproachable.
Crazy that it only took one game for people to largely forget (or, worse, ignore) all the damage Ubisoft has done to games and the people who make them.
