Made a new character :D I LOVE HER and I'm really proud of her ref sheet! I really wanted to have a character I could commission, with a rule that the artist has to draw something that makes them happy, inspired, and excited to create. 👏👏👏 Nothing makes me happier!!

A ref sheet for a character named "Sunblossom," a joy spirit who looks like a fluffy cream tabby cat with lunar moth wings and little green antennae, covered in sunflowers, little white flowers, and leaves. There is a bunch of information on there that boils down to the artist drawing her should draw something that makes them happy and inspired to create, and that her character design can be altered in any way to facilitate that.

Listen to me. Listen. If you're making images that will only be displayed on screens, YOU HAVE TO LET GO. You can calibrate your screens perfectly, but then 25k people will see it on their shitty $50 monitors or cracked phone and its out of your hands. Don't think of it. Achieve enlightenment.

Tweet by @night margin "digital artist woes" image of the same color gradient on various screen (monitor 1 appears very grey purple, phone appear VERY pink, monitor 2 appears a more saturated purple, laptop appears brownish red, family's phone appears much darker and bluer etc.)
