今日の模型作業。1週間クリアの乾燥させてたアオシマのRSマッハビート、ボディの研ぎ出しと外装細部塗装。神ヤス4000〜8000番で水研ぎして僅かな柚子肌を均してホルツコンパウンド細目→タミヤ細目→ハセガワセラミックコンパウンドで磨き込み。その後、窓枠やライトリフレクターなど細部塗装して、ランプ類やワイパーなど外装部品を塗って組み込み、最後にナンバーを付けてとりあえずの完成！例によって一晩置いて再チェックした上でちゃんと撮影します。 #2mabc

GT40 base is finished and the body now ready for the primer coat. Not the greatest kit but easy to assemble. A couple of bits are poor fitting and I am a bit worried about getting the two parts together. #histscalemodels #buildthestash
Rode the struggle bus for quite a few stops getting these decals to settle down, but we did it. Also had a moment of panic when I realized that Marina lacked the driver's splash guard. Some emergency surgery squared it away, it I'm still kicking myself for not noticing it earlier. #histscalemodels

Started adding some colour variation to the silver on the DC-10... I'm kinda 50/50 on whether the dark aluminium is too exaggerated but I have another one or two silvers to put on so hopefully it'll come together. #scalemodels #histscalemodels
Slow progress on my #ScaleModels rust. Around 8 hours in already (front and left side), probably 10 more needed at least (first time trying to track my bench time). Yesterday, I had a short session using #AKInteractive pencils to add nuances to the enamel and acrylic spots.

Since Hawkeye is done and I really should not paint pictures daily (or I burn out in no time lol) I continued work on the Ae86! Finished the engine bay with the lead wires and made kind of a mess with superglue 😝 #histscalemodels

Build the stash has absolutely gone out of the window at this point as I received delivery of a Nimrod today...... I'm well stoked that it has the instructions and colour scheme for the exact Nimrod I got to walk through on Sunday though!!!!
