Arts Junction is back this Monday, 13 April, with a smorgasbord of poetry, music, art & theatre at the Victoria Institute, Arundel from 7.30. This month there are two poets, Rebecca Zeman & Christopher Horton. Mike Carey will provide musical interludes and I will talk on the subject of AI in Art.

Today I discussed AI in art and literature with, author, Helen Fields as part of the Arundel Literary Festival. Our conversation started with a definition of art as the expression of human creative skill and imagination. Once you take out the human element in full or in part what is left?

AI in art & craft I have just published two articles on our website, one written solely by AI and the other written solely by me (researching articles online and from my experience). Both attempt to address the same question - Can AI replace craftsmanship in art? Both come to the same conclusion.

Robert Burns was a fan of William Wallace and supported both the French and American Revolutions. In 1794 he wrote Ode for George Washington’s Birthday, saying that people in Scotland wanted the same freedoms that Americans had…………. It might be the other way around now. Here’s the poem:
