My Indian FIL voted for Trump in 2016 (business man Trump) and by the middle of 2017 had already regretted his vote. Voted Biden in 2020. Tonight he literally was like "tell me about socialism" at the dinner table and, anyway, I think the midterms are gonna go poorly for the GOP

I more or less agree with this. My family never had cable, but we taped most of the shows we watched so we could fast-forward through commercials. That means we had rabbit ears, so the picture was usually fuzzy. But man, we looked forward to our shows in a way I don't anymore.

It’s hard to explain but tv was better when you couldn’t watch the show you wanted whenever you wanted to watch it and most of the shows were worse and the TVs were worse and the entire experience was worse, that’s when it was better
