Russia’s State Duma “elections” opened today, and the footage from occupied Donetsk region already tells the whole story: armed men in uniform standing over a white voting booth while a woman fills out a paper ballot under their supervision. This is a census of the coerced, conducted at gunpoint.

Those who say living under the tricolor is the same as living free have never read what happened the last time Ukraine believed promises of peace. A century ago the same illusion split the elite, opened the door, and ended in camps, executions, Holodomor. The empire’s method never changed.

Finally this bill becomes law, after almost two years. But unfortunately it has been altered several times to suit Trump, which gives him quite some leverage about to what extent many of the core measures will be implemented, or if at all.

The problem is the FPV interceptors like Stinger and Hornet are not fast enough for Geran-4 and above. So classic SAM or AAM will have to do that job. Which is quite expensive and puts lots of stress on the old F-16s and MiGs. Resulting in downtime/grounded. Less cover in effect.

The Telegraph satellite imagery is worth more than think-tank speculation. It shows moscovia industrializing its drone war in plain sight. Western leaders keep treating the situation as a shipping problem rather than a strategic escalation. Tsymbulova did not exist last year.

Some people still think Putin can be negotiated with. That he wants a deal. He doesn’t. He’s a war criminal. A cannibal feeding on Ukrainian land and his own soldiers. Everyone knows this. The real question is whose interests keep pretending otherwise.

Well, Ukraine specifically said they'd be ready for an energy ceasefire if "partners" (which means the US in this case) can ensure that russia also abides to it. No reaction from Trump or the russians -> strikes continue.
