Covid is on the rise, inevitably. The failure of Public Health isn’t only that vaccine eligibility is reduced yr on yr, but continued poor communication leads to false & dangerous beliefs. Heard a woman in my local pharmacy say “Me & my husband have had Covid so we’re immune.” Take precautions 😷👇

Today is World Hospice and Palliative Care Day! Grateful for the amazing Aides, therapists and nurses I work with who provide palliative care for our homebound patients! Grateful for the amazing hospice care staff who helped us with my mom in law! ALL of you, every day, are a blessing!

One of the painters I’ve written about in my book on obscure British 20thC artists is Brian Hatton, a friend of John Singer Sargent, who was killed in WW1. This portrait from 1908 is of his sisters Ailsa and Marjorie.

I've had a great week up at Monkspath Juniors working with the Yr 3 and 4 kids to create these 3D portraits. The school had chosen Shakespeare, Malala Yousafzai, Isambard Kingdom Brunel, and the 'NASA' scientists (Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, Mary Jackson, Christine Darden) 😁 #edusky #UKEd
