When you pass the buck of American imperialism to the German Nazis, you don't just draw attention to how bad the US has become, you exonerate both the Nazis and the historic imperialists/authoritarians of your own country, since the former were inspired by the latter.

I have a theory that part of the reason why there's an increase in openly anti-Indigenous sentiment among American anarchists is because of the prominence of Indigenous struggles in North America and Palestine in the past few years. It's a backlash rooted in envy and settler anxiety.

the incredibly bizarre "American Party of Labor - Puget Sound Division" has announced they're cancelling their counter to the Erika Kirk & TPUSA rally in Kirkland tomorrow. What's the use of wearing camouflage fatigues if you lack even an ounce of street militarism? seriously clownish fools

Have seen several reports on social media of ICE kidnappings in the suburbs of Seattle (Maple Leaf, White Center, etc.): safe to say that despite claims from certain anarchist publishing houses, the resistance to ICE in Minneapolis, LA and Chicago did not stop the deportation machine but...

Important to note that amid the World Cup—but far from host cities full of international journalist—“ICE last month arrested more [people] than any month in the history of the agency,” said Tom Homan, White House ‘border czar’

Q: Will this change on vehicle stops lower the rate of deportations? HOMAN: No. No. I'm sick and tired of reading about how the administration has lost their guts with mass deportation. Do you know that ICE last month arrested more aliens than any month in the history of the agency?

The King County Regional Homelessness Authority has released its delayed "point in time count" of unsheltered and sheltered homeless people. The overall number has gone up by about 2,000, to an estimated 18,365, of whom 11,829 were unsheltered. That's up from 16,868 and 9,810 in 2024, respectively.

Point-In-Time Count - KCRHA

The PIT Count is the single largest and most comprehensive look at unsheltered homelessness in King County, and will be used to inform policy, planning, resource allocation, and further research.

Reading about the struggle to desegregate state parks in the US south and how racist whites referred to the NAACP and other desegregationist efforts as "Outside Agitators" looking to "shake up race relations" really got me thinking about how that term has shifted meaning over the years...

one interesting thing about the World Cup & Knicks is that I would have completely missed Trump's weird UFC birthday night had it not been for some liberal legacy media and random large bsky accounts. Some real "the emperor has no clothes" type shit IMO
