genuinely confused why everyone, from the Stranger to the Seattle Times, is dutifully reporting that Mayor Katie Wilson announced a "new approach" at12th and Jackson. The approach (announced via blot post) is the same as always: Hot spot policing, move some services there, the problems move a block.

I think this is an inappropriate reaction from a big account. The Feds have “nothing” in *your* mind but they seemingly have enough to secure an indictment, raid people’s homes, hold people captive in a cell, & force them to fight criminal charges for a long period. That is not nothing.
