"regular" people write books every single day. I find it interesting what some say "regular" people can and cannot do. Now, are "regular" people able to PUBLISH those books? That's a totally different question.

I have sat face to face with detainees inside Delaney—high schoolers, elderly folks, a pregnant woman, people detained while waiting for court hearings. They told us the horrible conditions they face: lack of medical care, moldy food. Delaney Hall needs to be shut down.

I had no clue she’d survived this. My favorite movie of hers will always be the gorilla one from the 90s, but now I wonder how much of her acting was just imagining if her own mother hadn’t survived. Uffda.

Well we do pay sales tax. That was one reason South Dakota early on pushed for local taxation of internet commerce. I miss that type of common sense conservatism. But how much does actually offset the costs?
