Seattle area people we have an open room in our house in the Rainer Beach neighborhood. Close to transit, 10 minute walk to Rainier Beach light rail station. <5 minute walk to bus stops for rt 7, 106, 107. Rent is $675/mo + utilities ($2700 total split 4 ways). DM or email thomas@32bites.com

I guess I'm going to Megaplex next month, I didn't have plans to but a cheap space in a room fell in to my lap and was able to find a reasonably priced combination of flights.

I was riding a Lime scooter from my work to the light rail station and a mouse or rat ran out from under a parked metro bus and I ran it over before I could do anything. I feel kind of awful.

If you have a Boox Go Color 7, update your device's firmware. They FINALLY fixed this annoying thing it would do to images. Set refresh mode to Regal or HD and turn on Image Smoothing. I bought this device in February 2025 and it has always annoyed me.

Its my annual attempt to use linux as a desktop OS, this time I'm using Kubunu, does anyone know how to get the steam notification in the right place. I have messed around with wayland forcing the window to a specific location but it doesn't work with this specific window.

I now have a NTP time server that is precise the microsecond (One millionth of a second) set by the PPS output of a GPS hooked up over serial. Do I have a use for this? Not really. Can I figure out hot to get a PTP server working so other computers on the network also have as precise time? Also no.
