I ORDER MY COFFEE BLACK. NO SUGAR. NO MILK. NO WATER. NO CUP. THEY HAND ME THE BEANS. I EAT THEM IN THE PARKING LOT LIKE A HORSE. THE BARISTAS HAVE STOPPED CHARGING ME. I HAVE NOT SLEPT SINCE TUESDAY. I CAN HEAR THE WIFI

The Token Tax of being British "Sorry to trouble you Claude, old chap. I'm wondering if your delightfully enormous, yet contrived, intellect could help me track down the cause of a rather knotty complication I'm having." - billion tokens Americans... "Fix this bug" - 7 tokens

Does anyone know how to block AI generated content on Spotify? I don't want this kind of AI. I want the kind that helps me do boring admin, that's pretty much all I want.

don't want to beef with the specific person who posted this but don't understand why so many people are reluctant to understand that, actually, to quite a lot of people, the idea of just staying at home alone all week fucking sucks? wanting to leave the house and talk to people is normal!

When you build something yourself the joy you get from someone buying your product is huge. This is amplified when they continue to renew year after year, and when they make a real effort to make sure invoices get paid promptly. Build more things, it's good for you. #buildinpublic

What should I work on this year? Last year I focused my attention on my job, becoming a product manager from a consulting background. I'm glad I did because it was, and is, a challenge. The time I dedicate to side projects is more precious, what project deserves my time the most?

Just got the bad news that my client is cutting budgets and all contracts are not being renewed, so I'll be available to start work in the New Year I'm a Senior Contract .NET C#/F# Engineer with 15 years experience, comfortable working across AWS and Azure. RT's appreciated!

After #ESPC24 I've been thinking more about Copilot agents, obviously If AI Agents can call APIs what's the story with authenticated APIs, and "on behalf of" flows? I guess there is more orchestration you can do. Any one know of any examples? (is BlueSky at this level of community yet?)

"Good design doesn't just make things clear It doesn't just communicate faster and disseminate information more efficiently Good design makes the world better because of those things and because it shows that care was taken. It shows that someone decided that this thing mattered." - Adam Savage

With Copilot I'm still in the hope phase. I can imagine how it could be very useful in certain instances to streamline work. The tight integration of AI with auth/security, content and business context is ideal. But I'm yet to see a POC that blows me away #microsoft #Copilot

The best use of AI so far, is Vercel's V0. New product, new landing page needed. I used my research on user personas, including user stories as a prompt. It picked up most of the features and built a pretty landing page. This is right out of the box, unedited. #BuildInPublic #IndieHackers

The most stressed out I've ever been about Christmas was when I was 16 and I got my first ever job, working at M&S in Dundrum. As soon as I started I kept hearing these myths about the Christmas Eve Waste Sale, where all the food that wasn't sold on the 24th was marked down 90%.
