People on Facebook kicking off because they think illegal immigrant’s are being housed in the Ibis hotel in Paignton…. Saying ‘they arrived with suitcases’ turns out it’s a Bollywood film crew shooting a movie on Torquay! This is getting out of hand and is close to nazi level racial hate.
#dailygratitude 10th October- I’m grateful for a pretty relaxed Saturday, I missed the parkrun but got a few jobs done instead.
#dailygratitude 9th October- I’m grateful that today has been an easier day and I got to relax and enjoy my week off at last.
#dailygratitude 8th October- I’m grateful that the pandemics did a great job caring for my mum and even though we had 3 hours in the ambulance waiting for AnE to admit her she was taken care of and thankfully home again now after a wee bit health scare. 🙈 What a year this is becoming.
Today has been abysmal 🤦♂️ car failed to start twice (I always get it going) but can’t carry on like this. So, my #dailygratitude for 7th October is to be grateful that I’ve booked a full service and hopefully my mechanics can solve the other issues!

#dailygratitude 1st October- I’m grateful that I’ve food in the kitchen cupboard and enjoyed a good meal tonight. Not everyone has this simple luxury.
#dailygratitude 30th September - I’m grateful for living near woods and seeing the autumn colours developing. I’d normally be abroad at this time of year but caring for my mother means I’ll be in the UK for this autumn season and looking forward to seeing the beautiful colours of the woods.

#dailygratitude 28th September - I’m grateful to have a rough outline of a plan for the next 3 months to Christmas. Now to make that rough idea of a vague idea of a plan real.
Shocking that there’s hardly any new coverage about the disgusting attack by students at Cornell University that’s recently come into the public eye. What is happening here, I don’t want my daughter living in a handmaids dystopian world where sexual abuse is normalised.
#dailygratitude 27th September - I’m grateful for a nice Sunday roast dinner
#dailygratitude 26th September - I’m grateful for 15 years of Hanley parkrun. 15 years of fun, friendships and community building. The first parkrun to come to Staffordshire and I’m proud to have been there at the start line 15 years ago!
A bit like yesterday’s gratitude for the sunrise my #dailygratitude for the 25th of September is to be grateful for the lovely sunset tonight. I love this time of year for the sunsets/rises.
The Australian government should immediately start legal proceedings against OpenAI Time to shut down these threats before it’s too late. People should start keeping cash at home in a safe place for when AI attacks the banking system… Also, not calling it SI you feckless loon Donald!
#dailygratitude 23rd September - I’m grateful that my mother in law got through her surgery this afternoon and that it was successful.
#dailygratitude 22nd September - I’m grateful for a warm sunny evening

feckin hell, £98 for 3 quarters of a tank. When diesel hits £2 a litre it will be unaffordable to go to work! And there are no public transport options for me. The cost of having insane billionaires running countries is crushing us. FUCK TRUMP and his fucking Epstein war for Israel.
