Why has #baseball fandom been hijacked by idiots? I just saw someone complain that Luis Arraez (3 time batting champion) “gets too many hits and clogs up the bases.” He’s a fucking contact hitter! That’s his damn job, to get on base so all those low average sluggers you all worship can drive him in

You do not protect soldiers by ending anonymous discrimination reports, setting a 60-day deadline and letting commanders dismiss complaints. Forty years in uniform taught me what happens when troops are afraid to speak. Send me to Congress. I will take on Pete Hegseth. Leadership Matters!!
My mother’s cousin died last night. 30-some years ago, her behavior changed in a very drastic way. I, a teenager who read a lot, realized she was probably schizophrenic. I was told to stop making fun of her. I wasn’t. I was interpreting information Several years later, she was diagnosed. I was right
#Comics fans, I don’t know if this will make sense, but, when watching a live action comics movie, does some part of your mind ever translate it into the work of specific artists? I don’t mean you see it that way with your eyes, but it’s somewhere in your brain. 1/2
Good morning, Bluesky. ☕️☕️☕️☕️ 🤷♂️ ☕️☕️☕️☕️ There’s no power here. I don’t know why.
I think "AI" plumpers should be happy I'm focusing mostly on the nonsense it's doing to my field, rather than how it's very clearly designed as a tool for the capture of wealth and capital by a bunch of accelerationist weirdos enthusiastically huffing their own farts from the depth of their K-holes
Sci-fi authors Scalzi and Stross decry AI's dystopian impact on their craft
I need to stop paying attention to the news at a certain point in the evening now and not go back to it until morning or I’m going to go insane from lack of sleep.
It looks like I, the union rep, am going to have to go to battle (verbally) against the other union’s rep. He’s being transphobic and making one of his own constituents afraid to go to him with questions. I’m not tolerating that. That’s unacceptable.
Flock cameras’ days are numbered. Across the country, communities are removing them city by city. Thank you to everyone who is standing up, speaking out, and fighting back against their expansion. Here’s the cities that have fought back and won! Denver CO, Austin TX, San Marcos TX, Evanston IL,

What if musicians had to change their song titles to reflect their ages? Running Over the Hill Edge of Seventy When I Was Sixty-Four
Spending 45 minutes reading the news is a soul-pulverizing experience in 2026. It should not be this way.
Just a reminder, transphobes suck. Bugger off with your bigotry. Trans rights! 🏳️⚧️ #transrightsarehumanrights🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈
I spent the afternoon watching classic #StarTrek. “The Man Trap” “Charlie X” “The Naked Time”
Under conservative Christian control our food is now poisonous. Our water is being given to machines instead of thirsty people. People are being rounded up by slavers. Pedophiles feel they can ignore our laws. Conservative Christianity is the enemy of our constitution and free people everywhere.
Today is the birthday of legendary Batman artist Dick Sprang (July 28, 1915-May 19, 2000).

Death seems quite interested in my family this week. My mother’s cousin went into hospice yesterday and my father’s aunt died today. No condolences necessary. I haven’t seen these people in many years. They’re peripheral characters from my childhood, not people in my current life.
Friendly reminder that these things aren't impacted by closing the Strait of Hormuz so maybe, just maybe, we should implement them to avoid being impacted by future conflicts: -Solar panels -Wind turbines -Battery storage -Electric vehicles -Bicycles -Natural fertilizers -Electric heat pumps
If you don't support Gun Reform, you can take your Thoughts and Prayers after every Mass Shooting and shove them up your Gun Violence denying ass.
It’s a good day to post my song that mentions #StarTrek, and #StarWars, and Spider-Man, and the X-Men, and Batman, and all the fictional stuff that protected me from my own insecurities when I was a kid. #Bandcamp #MusicSky aaronsmith4.bandcamp.com/track/incogn...
