Pay attention to the Prairieland case. By saddling the defendants with indiscriminate charges, holding them without bail, and isolating them from lawyers and the public, prosecutors are attempting to terrorize them into signing guilty pleas in order to set a precedent criminalizing dissent itself.

Really big win, y'all! Ring is still a tool for surveillance, but if they aren't feeding sureillance footage to Flock, which feeds it directly to law enforcement, that's a reduction in the harm they're doing. Good reminder that public pressure has an effect.

It's recently come to light that an ICE recruitment event is scheduled to be held on Tuesday 1/13 and Wednesday 1/14 at the Hilton in St Petersburg. We need as many people as possible to call in to the location and tell the Hilton management this event directly aids in community kidnapping!
