I agree especially when it comes to a studio that normally has an amazing track record and puts out something that isn’t quite their usual standards. It still really irks me when people say that “Pixar’s recent films are good, but being “just good” isn’t good enough for Pixar and we expect better”

Anything less than an 8/10 or 9/10 means that it is on par with something actually awful. Everything has to be either "absolute cinema" or "the worst thing ever made" with no room in between.
