I never got the impression Trejo was a good guy. But I always got the impression he was at very least a principled guy. So this is disappointing. Maybe its a contractual obligation & he didn't know what he was signing up for? Does he deserve that grace if it was?

I also believe in restorative justice but I don't think that means you get to become a pillar of a community and garner an audience and an income that relies solely on everyone including yourself staying silent about your actions. In the VIDEO GAME SPHERE no less.

I haven't resolved my feelings on all of this... Because I don't necessarily think I should have the right to the intimate details of the wrong things every media person I consume has done, but the people who worked directly with Geller deserved some form of informed consent for working with him.

I think what I resent the most is that all of us, especially the women who worked with him, were a part of his rehabilitation (at least image-wise) without us ever getting to choose if that was something we wanted to participate in. He didn't let us or his audience make a choice. How ironic.

Wow. LOISH got accused of using Ai to make her art. I started following her on early deviantart. I remember first seeing her paintings in college. This is ridiculous, no one is safe. Artists Ive followed for actual decades are getting harassed because their work has been stolen and regurgitated.
