NEW: We reported hundreds of civil rights violations by immigration enforcement agents across eight states. Our damning findings further show President Trump’s deportation campaign is violating our rights at an unprecedented scale and severity — endangering children, communities, and our democracy.
BREAKING: ICE is telling some of its agents to pause vehicle stops after ICE officers shot and killed two people in the past week. This is good news, but nothing will bring back the victims of ICE's abuse. We need real, permanent policy changes to stop this rogue agency from killing any more of us.
The civil rights framework that we built to fulfill the promises of our nation’s founding keeps falling short. We must build our system of racial justice from the ground up to combat the civil rights attacks we face in 2026.
America’s 250th year was horrible for civil rights. But there’s a path forward.
The civil rights framework we built to enforce our founding document’s promise of liberty continues to fall short.
