To mark #VolunteersWeek, we invited our volunteers to share what volunteering means to them in a few words, adding their reflections to our Volunteer Tree as part of last week’s Volunteer Thank You event. It was wonderful to watch the tree grow as each new leaf was added throughout the event 🍃

We recently attended some amazing #IWD events. On Friday, we joined the Women’s Homelessness Alliance conference. Yesterday, we were at Hay & Kilner’s International Women’s Day celebration, joining a panel inspired by #GivetoGain to highlight the strength of women in our community 🧡

One of our InterAction drop-in volunteers, Idrees, got to try being a firefighter today when Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service came to visit. Mehrban Sadiq advised clients and volunteers about the Importance of smoke alarms and the need to check fire safety in rented accommodation.
