One More Light is not a bad album and never was a bad album. Sure it’s a jarring change and the weakest of pre-reunion LP’s discog, but it doesn’t deserve the vitriol it got. There’s only one song that’s genuinely bad, the rest are strong and catchy with their most emotional and mature lyrics.
