Ben Shapiro probably does not know enough history to even know this, but the way he is talking about Muslims as a nation within the nation who can never be integrated is almost verbatim what European nationalists said about Jews in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Proud of my students for their perseverance today @auschwitzmemorial.bsky.social I remain convinced that education is the best way to combat the pervasive effects of national chauvinism and racism. May they share their experiences at this place for the rest of their lives.
Excited to share the cover of "Racism and Antiracism in Divided Germany," a forthcoming book I co-edited with Lauren Stokes. A history of racism and antiracist activism in East, West, and unified Germany—and why it matters today. 30% off from Cornell UP with code 09BCARD: tinyurl.com/RADGcornell

you'd think that the fact the president of the united states is completely fucking insane would be a bigger news story
I am so happy I renewed my passport last year ...
Perhaps now is the time for JD to speak with AfD leaders in Germany ...
Can't remember the last time I felt this excited about an election in a country I was actually living in at the time. It *could* have been the 2023 Polish ones but I had just moved away.
💥Polls closed in Hungary. No exit poll, but 21 Research Institute’s Apr 8–11 exclusive survey for @telexhu.bsky.social shows the opposition Tisza party leading Orbán's Fidesz 55–38, with the far-right Our Homeland around the 5% threshold. Tisza is on the verge of a parliamentary supermajority.
