All other issues and factors aside, this is a pretty stunning data point and result.
Dr. Abdul El-Sayed won the Michigan Democratic Senate primary despite being massively outspent. Outside groups spent roughly $70 million backing his opponent, compared with about $3 million supporting El-Sayed.

Its embarrassing how many grown ass adults live in these fantasies where people work for some nonsense like the artificial cultures oligarchs manufacture over survival.

There are a lot of people who let their bigotry color their political analysis and it is bizarre to observe from afar
Why does the NYTimes refer to them as fireflies when most people on the eastern half of the US call them lightning bugs?
It's pretty annoying how people on here want to argue over positions I haven't taken concerning articles they haven't read but whatever

I'm not sure if X-Men '97 season 2 is still set in 1997 or 1998, but Creed would not announce his presidential run that soon after a recent election. Just sayin!
"No," he said, "millions. One Jewish life, it's 10 million [Palestinians]." Challenged on the racism of his statement, he did not deny it. "Yes, I know," he replied. The left needs a candidate it can unite around in the 2028 primaries and AOC is the only real choice. Nobody else checks all of the boxes. Every other option is worse. If she doesn't run, it's a missed opportunity of historic proportions. www.hamiltonnolan.com/p/aoc-must-r...
It's really not funny to treat trans poorly. They have to deal with people being horrible to them day in and out. And it doesn't cost any of us anything to be kind...
@kenjennings.bsky.social unfollowed. I encourage you to just apologize
as a straight dude I agree too. it's evidence of a weak will and/or poor attachment to good values, and we've all got LGBT friends or family. more practically I've seen way too many people go batshit fucking crazy down the transphobia waterslide
Squishiness on trans rights is a dealbreaker for me because (a) it’s a straightforward issue of personal freedom and bodily autonomy much like abortion, and (b) the right is obviously coming after us cis gays next.

After a slight polling bump, we've had a series of completely brutal polls for Trump over the past week. He's currently sitting at 36.5%/60.5% per FiftyPlusOne. If this holds, it will be the lowest approval for a president heading into a Midterm since Truman in 1946!
