Adam Muraski@adammuraski.bsky.social · 1h agoThat is not a question for me. I am only overly interested bc I grew up in Ann Arbor. I live in Milwaukee now. I don’t see AES moving to be a consensus candidate with the veracity required to overcome barely pulling off a win with a plurality.
how do you even campaign for such an amendment? MISSOURI GOP: “we literally want to make direct democracy harder.” VOTERS: “no.”
Kyle Griffin@kylegriffin1.bsky.social · 58m agoMissouri voters just blocked a Republican-led effort to raise the bar for passing citizen-led constitutional amendments. Under current law, ballot measures require a simple majority for passage. Amendment 4 would have required ballot initiatives to win a majority in each congressional district.
stevens doing this right away in a gracious way is good and shows she understands that it's all one team, and everyone else in the establishment is also getting on board we are going to win this race in november

Senator is actually one of the jobs where your views on foreign policy matter most and it's a genuinely incredible thing that the Democratic candidate for Michigan is someone who wants to end aid to Israel, Egypt and the UAE and not a mindless drone who wanted to give Netanyahu another $20B.

Did I get the night I wanted? No I never want to spend hours waiting on Wayne County to count votes. Did I get the results I wanted? Absolutely, there was Abdul El-Sayed, Will Lawrence, Donovan McKinney federally, along with a ton of statehouse wins including Abbas Alawieh and Chris Gilmer-Hill.
