New collab with Button Masher means playing bass at ethically dubious tempos

when companies come crawling back from the ai bubble burst and need Premium Grade Artist Labor again
In terms of their influence on musician culture, this is almost certainly true.
Heard from a sick bassist (Steve Jenkins) that in terms of rhythm, the two most important artists of the past few decades are J Dilla and Meshuggah. Interesting.
This Tucson maga-adjacent sports bar was just playing Miles Davis’s On the Corner for the past hour, followed by… “Hail to the Redskins.” Idk, man. Idk.
Time is a finite resource, and many in the working class do not have time. Suno is very time-cheap, the same way fast food is time-cheap for people in food deserts who cannot take 2 hours to travel to a grocery store for money-cheap groceries.
What do we think about the assertion in this meme? I know, we think it's asinine, but I'm looking for specific arguments as to why it's asinine.
I tried calculating a metric modulation and my calculator tapped out
One of the most consistent pieces of feedback I get is that on the Adam Neely channel is that, I, Adam Neely should never talk about Adam Neely’s music in any context.
I’m thinking about how some reacted negatively to the end of my video, and I was just recommended (by a human) this video, that is relevant. youtu.be/Bm2Q9HkbLsQ?... Their conclusion is to “log off,” but they acknowledge that some people simply cannot, and that creates a digital caste system.

Earnest questions for visual AI artists! 1. What about AI lets you do different things from other digital art? 2. Do you feel like you have a unique “voice” with your AI art? 3. What AI visual artists inspire you? What about their work makes you inspired?
On Instagram, there is a NYC jazz bassist who is very aggressively promoting his “BassGPT” LLM app. I admit, I didn’t see the jazz pdf-seller to AI grifter pipeline coming, but in retrospect, it was inevitable.
The sheer number of “I’m a real musician, I swear!” posts on the r/Suno subreddit is pretty sad, honestly. Other music-related subreddits are just people sharing tips on how to make dope beats, but the main effect of making AI music seems to be deep existential anxiety of the value of your work.
if you like nerds in pajamas playing electro fusion I have just the video clip for you
