Screw #Fifa We need FEXIT! *I realise how closely that resembles another 'Exit' but I think this fits & is needed.

Please check on the disabled, elderly and vulnerable people in your lives. We are the canaries in the coal mine. Adverse weather events, supply chain issues, political unrest and climate change hit us harder and faster than “healthy” people.
Wonder what kind of sanctions are gonna be imposed on Belgium for the crime of being better at football than America...
Do I love sleep? Yes. Do I need sleep? Yes. Do I want to sleep? Yes. Do I fall asleep? Believe it or not, no.
Unbelievable. In a game he played zero minutes in, Jordan Henderson got himself a yellow card and then needed to be stretchered off after injuring himself falling over the advertising board while singing #Wonderwall #MexEng *Just after the 55 second mark
Bullshit penalty. Not a clear and obvious error in real time. He's judging it by the slow mo!
Wonder if we (England) can get the President Peace Prize treatment and get that red card overturned.... Was the correct decision, unfortunately.
Well. This could lead to some embarrassing and errrrm, prominent offside decisions if you get my point.... Slightly unusual story regarding the England football team ahead of their (high altitude) Mexico match! talksport.com/football/wor... #Football #England #Viagra
England allowed to use Viagra by WADA to help players rise to World Cup altitude
England stars looking for a quick fix to elevate their performance against Mexico would be allowed to use Viagra. Thomas Tuchel has already stressed how hard the conditions will be for the Three Li…

Bit (tragically) poetic how we're seeing an AlgaeRhythm driven by the Algorithm. Been reflecting about that... #Algae #reflecting
When you’re chronically ill you experience symptoms daily that would send a healthy person to the hospital. We can’t go to the hospital every time something hurts. If we did, we would live there. That’s life with chronic illness. You adjust to constant suffering.
I'm been quite frustrated lately. As well as dealing with flare ups, I've been stifled in my plans to set up my own project. The few crappy tools I do own aren't enough and there's no way I can purchase anything else as I'm too disabled to work a regular job. Just food is tough enough to manage
I’ve been cycling through audiobooks from my childhood to fall asleep, and I started relistening to Dan Brown novels and boy, did I forget how they’re all just the same story every book and how completely unremarkable they are. Perfect for falling asleep to honestly. Wild they made 3 movies.
Claimant: Yes, I survived a Boeing 767 crash Insurance: Your flight details and seat #? Claimant: Not applicable Insurance:??? Claimant: I was just delivering tasty baked goods!
Can I call this a #LowSpoon meal? Spag-Bol did take time & energy to cook BUT this is leftovers with some frozen fries (+ some seasoning). Either way, I got a hearty meal that was ready in minutes without exhausting myself further. 10/10 will be repeating!
Serious question When was the last time you didn't sleep for 3+ days and nights? Asking because I've become quite acclimatised to being in this weird, woozy, Painsomniac™️ state and despite being chronically ill, I think healthy people would struggle to do this on the regular & still 'be normal'.
Can anyone fluent in 'What The Fuck' translate this please?
Former Washington Post journalists have launched a GoFundMe to help repatriate fired staff members who are effectively stranded in foreign countries. One of the richest men in the world fired them from the paper and didn’t even pay to ensure they got home. Abolish the billionaire class:

Determined to finish writing this week, but I chose the most research-intensive way to write this and it’s the sort of thing that could be much better if I took longer to do it but I keep running into this with everything and then losing focus and it’s better to write something than nothing but ugh.
Need to do some writing about how chronic pain, migraines, nerve pain etc affect the person experiencing them. Trouble is, I'm one of those people and going through a rather unpleasant flare up too. I'll spare you what the addition of insomnia adds to the mix but it does not much imagination take!
Hey #Bluesky. I like plenty about your app and the setup but one - quite simple change - would improve it for many I feel. Any chance you could apend the video length to the thumbnail pic so we'd know in advance how much time we'd need to invest by clicking 'Play'? I skip many vids due to this!
Won't lie. I thoroughly dislike being kept awake by raging neuropathic pain. It's just not possible to ignore as it's too 'alive' and zingy. Rant over, as you were everyone
Zero sleep, head to toe pain & brain-fog worse than normal but needed nutrition... So I started chopping. Did this in a few batches to manage energy/spoons. My reward??? A huge Cauldron of homemade curry packed with vegetables. ** Recipe available (approx as I rarely measure!) on request
Did too much today and my body is shouting at me in various disharmonic ways. Worth it though and I'm distracting some of the pain(s) with my Tens machine with a side order of Audiobook! #ChronicPain #ChronicIllness #Audiobooks #Fibromyalgia
Really wanted to get some cheap, hot junk food last night. Mostly because I didn't want more sandwiches (need to reduce bread intake!). Rustled up a quick, sauce-y stir fry with what fresh stuff I had & am glad I did. Cooking with #ChronicPain is tough but I've found a few workarounds that help.
I freely confess that 2025 didn't pan out the way I'd hoped & that's ok. My mini plan for this year is to; * Write and post more * Create some music to accompany that writing * Improve fitness/stamina * Help others understand chronic pain with a view to lessening it's impact * Get outside more
If you’re chronically ill and trapped in a bad flare, please consider that current events may be having an impact. The attacks on Venezuela are terrifying. The entire US political arena is frightening. It’s ok to unplug. It’s ok not to follow the news. Protect your spoons & digital space.
