Just discovered a youtuber who has grown fast in the nerd space openly advocates writing with AI on his linkedin, and its annoying me that his content makes literally 3x my own. At least makes me feel good that I clocked he was def using AI from the way he spoke months ago.

Anyways, I'm a Rings of Power defender, but it does make some pretty weird choices. Its like half of it is some of the best LOTR content put to screen and then the other half is the most shallow nonesense this side of The Hobbit.

I'm rewatching Rings of Power and I always liked it, but season one works WAYYYY better knowing the answers to the mystery box bullshit of "who is Sauron, who is the Stranger" and just seeing all the hints where its leading, like all the nods in how Halbrand bis Sauron. It works 1000x better.

“That distinction matters” and variations of it is a phrase I have come to loathe. It not only reek ls of AI, but it’s seeped into people’s who I know don’t use AI through cultural osmosis. Even my own. It’s meaningless most of the time. Of course it matters, you’re arguing that. Convince me.

I’m watching Frasier for the first time and omg him and his Dad are adorable together. I’m still upset they had Fraiser divorce Lilith tho. Glad she comes back. And I like Niles in every scene where he’s not being intensely creepy to Daphne, which is most of them sadly.

Finished watching this... I really hope we get more (though the first season is pretty much a complete story). What a fantastic show! If you loved Lower Decks, you'll love this- it's not just pulling from the game, but all fantasy tropes If you haven't watched it yet, why not?!

Because Tilly is a pretty object made to be used by men, so of course it’s a “she” to them. Whereas trans woman clearly have interiority & agency who use it to refuse their bullshit hierarchy, so of course we are villainous subhuman monsters undeserving/incapable of having true personhood.

New: Macklemore says Robert Kraft — who owns Gillette Stadium, where Macklemore & Ed Sheeran were to perform later this month — called Sheeran. Kraft rallied other owners together behind an ultimatum for Sheeran: if Macklemore stays on the tour, you won't be allowed in our venues.

I'm not sure how to start this. So I'm going to speak from the heart and share the truth. Ed Sheeran and his team have made the decision to remove me from The Loop tour. But before I get into it, I want to say something that should be obvious. In this moment I think it matters. I am not a victim. Ed Sheeran is not a victim. Pink is not a victim. We have careers, money, opportunities, safety and audiences around the world. Whatever consequences any of us face for what we say, we get to go home to our families. The victims are the Palestinian people. The men, women and children who have been killed, starved, displaced and forced to live through unimaginable violence. More than 20,000 children have been killed in Gaza alone. People are being killed today, and people will be killed tomorrow. I want to make sure that as I tell this story, we don't lose sight of that. Ed is my friend. I've known him for 13 years. We've shared late nights, studio sessions and stages. He has this infectious magic about him that I've grown to love. I consider him a brother. And because of that, we've had some difficult conversations this past week. The type of talks rooted in love and respect for one another that still end in a place of fundamental disagreement. Nothing I'm writing here is out of spite or because I want to tear down his character. But as I told Ed multiple times on the phone, our friendship can't change my responsibility to tell the truth about what happened. Last Monday, in the middle of all the media attention surrounding Pink and what I said at MetLife, Ed told me that Robert Kraft called him. We were scheduled to play Gillette Stadium later this month, which is owned by the Kraft Group. Ed told me that Kraft said I would not be allowed to perform in his stadium.
